A theme links the understanding of the world.   
The first theme is love, because Gat and  Cadence fell in love and kiss each other.   
The second theme is family silence. Don´t talk about dead family members or family members that had left the family loud. Because Cadence and her family never talk loud about dead Granny Tipper and her dead dog.
