Garden beds 

The Blue Fence

Garden signage

This year it is my goal to upgrade the garden beds into concrete beds. We will start with the A row , the row closest to the mural. And build 3 rectangular beds. 

This alternative is low cost and long lasting. I will need assistance with the installation. To give you an idea , I’m imagining an installation like : https://youtu.be/zEq67rSGakk

The wooden beds have all be completely decomposed since the last installment over 10 years ago.  This beds will be decorated with mosaics and plant identifications. I look forward to bring art activities for the parish to participate in. 

The fence needs repairs desperately. It is leaning and falling apart .  And for the signs I need to collaborate with a printer or painter to hang and design the images. 

Always we need donations of plants and seeds for the garden and food for the pantry. Donations can be accepted on Thursdays. Or any days some one can accept them. 

We can talk more about compost upgrades next meeting . Don’t want to overwhelm. 

Large Volunteer workday to install garden beds, replant trees, & transplant shrubs around the garden. Harvesting compost will be an important part of this task.

Main request is to have access to the compost between 3-5 pm that afternoon.
