         <title>LISTENING- PEAKY BLINDERS</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>TV SERIES<br>This is about the activities of an Irish/Romani gang family (The peaky Blinders) set in Birmingham, England, after the First World War.<br><br></div><div>Peaky, is a nickname for a flat hat, like the cap of the man in the picture below, and blinders comes from the practice of putting razors in to the visor. ( take a long look at the picture ), they use this cap to fight, it is their weapon, to cut the face of theirs opponents.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>The family is “ the Shelby family” and its boss is Tommy Shelby, an ambitious, smart and tough young man, who had very bad experiences in the Firs World War (digging tunnels in order to put explosives).&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>His opponent is Chester Campbell, a policeman from Belfast, Ireland, who has fought against IRA ( Irish Republican Army ). Wiston Churchill sent him to cleanup&nbsp; Birmingham of this gang.<br><br></div><div>I saw the three season and I think that is one of the best series I ever seen.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>EVEN DOGS IN THE WILD<br>by Ian Rankin<br><br>Even Dogs in the wild is a detective fiction by Ian Rankin, who is a Scottish writer, famous for his inspector Rebus' series of crime novels. This is the last novel of inspector Rebus.<br><br></div><div>When the book starts, inspector Rebus is retired of the police, but when two old friends, Siobhan Clarke and Malcom Fox ask for his help on a case, he doesn’t take much time to say ok.<br><br></div><div>It’s a crime story based in Edinburg of a lawyer’s murder, gang’s war (the Starks), and the relationship between Rebus and “Big Gear” Cafferty, his Nemesis (they were friends in their childhood but they took different paths in their lives)<br><br></div><div>I have not finished the book yet, but I recommend it, Ian Rankig won the X price RBA of noir novel in Barcelona last year for this novel<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>SHIRT<br>by Robert Pinsky<br><br>Robert Pinsky is a poet, editor, literary critic and translator. He teaches at Boston University's.<br><br></div><div>I found this poet recently and I love his poetry. <br>You discover the musicality that he gives to his poems when you hear him to recite them, his poetry is very influenced by jazz.<br><br></div><div>Speaking about simple things, in this case a shirt, takes you through the industry of the early twentieth century, to the sweatshops like the Triangle Factory ( and its blaze) , the Scottish mills, and  the Ossian Hoax  (It has been described as the greatest-ever literary hoax).<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
