- Family history of high cholesterol and heart disease

- Occasional tingling sensation
- Urinalysis shows glucose in the urine
- She IS A DIABETIC

- Medical history from 14 months old...
- She ran a fever, was extremely lethargic, experienced breathing problems, and appeared to be in a lot of pain
- Breathing is abnormal, respiratory rate is selevated, and patient seems to be short of breath
- Pale skin, nails, and lips
- Had a diaper rash and mother said she's been experiencing diahrrea for two days
- Heart rate is rapid and above normal range, pulse is 175 bpm
- Hematocrit, lower than normal hematocrit- 20%
- Positive for Sickle Cell Anemia
- abnormal spleen, indicative of splenic sequestration
- Slight heart murmur detected
- Blood pressure values averaged 142/85 
- Heart rate avg'd 90-105 over the course of the day
