         <title>1. Give students the time frame of how long they have for each activity.  On the interactive whiteboard have a large clock or countdown for students to see and give them plenty of notice when time is running out.</title>

         <title>2.  Have students &#39;reset&#39; and get their focus back onto the teacher and away from the last activity.  </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Teacher says something that is used as a trigger which gets students attention i.e. "One. Two. Three. Eyes on me".  Or "pens down hands up" or a line from a song they like and they say the next line.  Alternatively a short phrase or line from a song or move could be played.  <br>This will allow students to refocus and to move on to the next activity, saving time trying to get them to finish the old activity or making sure they are all ready to move on.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Use a signal word to prepare students for the next activity.  They should be pre-warned first that it is upcoming.<br>This word could be one that students need to learn.  I teach students who are not native language learners.  Therefore it would be beneficial if this word were to change on a weekly or  fortnightly basis.  This has the added benefit of students hearing it over and over again and learning its pronunciation and helping them remember it.<br>The use of the word will follow with the beginning of the next activity.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>At the end of class students will write down one thing which they have learnt and one thing that they struggled with or did not understand in the class.  They will give this piece of paper to the teacher.  This information can then be used to help the teacher plan review classes and re-design the class to the benefit of the student.<br>Students with special educational needs can give this orally at the end of class if they are unable to write it or type it and email to the teacher. </div>]]></description>

To avoid this a marker could be placed on the floor near the door, these markers would help to distance students and avoid any unnecessary unrest or confrontation.          <title>Independent Bathroom Transitions</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Students do not need permission to use the bathroom rather a bathroom protocol is in place to make transitions private and respectful.During non-instructional times, students can independently use the restroom without asking the teacher. <br><strong>Transition Rules</strong><br>1. Only one student in the bathroom at a time. <br>2. Write your name on the whiteboard next to the door to indicate you're not in the room but safe in the school. <br>3. If students show that they cannot handle this privilege then students will have to ask the teacher before leaving the room and use a physical bathroom pass when leaving the room. </div>]]></description>

A timer will be used to show the students when they need to start cleaning up and making their ways to their seats. Students are expected to have ALL EARS on the visitor. Students will face the front of the room and be respectful to the visitor. <br><br></div>]]></description>
