         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Location</strong>:<br>Yemen, is a <a href="https://www.britannica.com/topic/nation-state">country</a> situated at the southwestern corner of the Arabian Peninsula. It is mostly mountainous and generally arid, though there are broad patches with sufficient precipitation to make agriculture successful. <br><strong>Religion</strong>:<br>Over 99% of the population is Muslim (2010 est.) The main population speaks Modern Standard Arabic.</div>]]></description>

Women play a secondary role in running the household and raising children and, in rural areas, helping to work the family farm</div><div>· &nbsp; A woman traditionally earns her status through bearing children particularly males. The birth of a male child is considered one of the most important social events in Yemen and is usually followed by a circumcision ceremony. Though prohibited by law in 2001, female genital cutting still occurs, taking place primarily in private and varying significantly by region&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-Migrant arrivals into Yemen have started to slowly increase due to recent loosening of restrictions on international movements.<br><br>-A total of 4,876 migrants arrived in Yemen in 2021. This number is higher than the previous year at the same period where only 3,669 migrants arrived in Yemen.<br><br>-The overall number of migrants is low due to the pandemic.<br><br>-During the previous pre-pandemic years of 2018 and 2019 the migrant numbers were a lot higher. 47,269 migrants arrived in Yemen in 2019 and 31,644 migrants arrived in Yemen in 2018.</div>]]></description>
