Due to this, the mitochondrion can be easily compared to power supplies, power plants, or almost anything that provides power to a city. I chose NPPD as they are widely used for electricity necessities all across Gage County.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>For the organelle cytoplasm, I chose downtown Beatrice for representation. Cytoplasm's function is basically just to hold things together, in place, so things aren't flying around. I chose downtown Beatrice because it holds everything together. If we didn't have the buildings downtown, all we would have are houses. Houses are important, but we would be missing the rest of the organelles.</div>]]></description>

The rough E.R. is used as a transportation system that lets organelles travel around within the cell. The smooth E.R. transports proteins, and produces cholesterol and hormones. It can also detoxify the cell.</div>]]></description>

They both keep our city running every day. We drive our cars like the organelles that transport around in the endoplasmic reticulum. Without ER or the highways of Beatrice, there would be not commute within Beatrice or the cell.</div>]]></description>

The parcels then get sent to places around the cell or they are secreted. The USPS Office gives you the ability to send your parcel to basically anywhere in the city, better yet, all around the world.</div>]]></description>

The courtroom could be easily compared to the nucleolus of the courthouse because it is the main staple to the courthouse. Without any courtrooms, there would be no courthouse, just how if the nucleolus did not exist, there would be no nucleus.</div>]]></description>
