The teachers let the kids talk a lot and let them do whatever work they wanted to and let them be on their phones. I had both of the teachers I observed in high school and loved them both. For one of the teachers I observed I built a great relationship with her all throughout high school and I wouldn't of made it though without her. They get to know them personally and are great at separating being their friend and being their teacher. They know when it's a time to joke around with them, but they know when to be serious and you can tell how important their students are to them. As far as student: student interaction the students were all friends. They all got a long very well but some of them also have those love/hate friendships. Students get very distracted by other students because they constantly want to roam the halls or have normal high school conversations and are unable to focus. There was always the weird normal conversations that students have and prom was this past weekend so when I went on Friday they were all excited about their prom plans and then today they were showing all the pictures from that night. It was in the mens bathroom so I obviously didn't see it. But I just find it sad that so many fights are still going on and the stupid reason the fights are over. Kids love seeing fights, I feel like it's something that kids like about high school and what I really hate is when people take videos and are constantly showing other friends and even the teachers that want to see them.
