Summary - A family of 5 living in Texas are having a great life and believe nothing will happen in the hands of God. But when they're middle child, Annabel Beam,  is diagnosed with two serious illness, and after a horrible accident, everything changes.
Rating reason - I would give Miracles from Heaven a 9.5 because it was an amazing and inspirational book and I cried a few times. But I feel like some parts were dragging on or there was some slow parts, but other than that I totally recommend this book.

Annabel was five years old when she was diagnosed with two rare life-threatening digestive disorders, Pseudo-obstruction motility disorder and Antral hypomotility disorder.  She lived in constant pain and agony for months until she was put on several medications, but the medicine still did not stop her pain. Weeks after visiting Dr. Nurko, she decided it would be nice to play outside again like she used too. Things took a dangerous and horrible turn when Annabel fell through a hollow tree trunk and was unconscious for several hours. She began to feel no more pain in her stomach and was running around like she used too. Annabel and her mother went for a follow up at the hospital and to their shock, Annabel was healed completely. Many members of the family have admitted to losing their faith and Christianity along the way, but still say they never fully gave up. Instead of focusing on everything negative, little Annabel tried so hard to think positive.
