Harriet Tubman was a woman who was held as a slave when she was a kid.She escaped from being a slave and also managed to rescue 70 enslaved people including friends, and family.After she escaped she then was put a bounty of 40,000$.The reason she was placed such a high bounty is not all because she escaped but because, she was a dark-skinned woman and people were racist.Of course a lot of people tried to capture her because of the large amount of moneyYou
