         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>Blu-ray discs use an, "optical storage technology" similar to DVD's or CD's; "Beneath the disc’s surface, a sequence of pits carries the information in the form of a digital (numeric) code."</li><li>The Blu-ray player uses a blue laser to read or write data to a disk (the blue laser is responsible for the name "Blu-ray")<ul><li>This laser uses a smaller profile wavelength than DVD's red laser</li></ul></li><li>Blu-ray provides some 25 billion bytes of data on a single layer</li></ul>]]></description>
