AGE:

LEARNING: Children learn through stimulus and response. Children learn when they imitate adults.

ENVIRONMENT: It is important because children receive stimulus from the environment when they learn. Ivan Pavlov and Watson made experiments on animals to prove they could control certain behaviour using a conditioned stimulus to produced a conditioned response. Watson introduced the concept of reinforcement through a reward or punishment as a method to make a behaviour happen again or not.

MISTAKES:
Mistakes have to be avoid.

AGE:If learning is meaningful, age is not important.
LEARNING:Ausubel talks about rote and meaningful learning. The first refers to the idea of learning something through repetition, while the second one is the ability to connect the new information with the prior knowledge. In that way, learning is meaningful.
ENVIRONMENT
MISTAKES:They are important because children can construct knowledge taking into account mistakes.

INNATISM

AGE: Children's first language acquisition is a process in children follow the same stages: Babies start making cooing noises. At around 4 months of age they begin to babble. Then, they start speaking their first words and learn new words. At their about 18 months they try to join words and use a kind of grammar.Between 2 and 3 years old, they begin to learn more grammar and generalise rules.
LEARNING:
We are born with the innate capacity to develop language. Children develop language naturally and quickly. They also say things that they never heard before, so immitation could not be possible. This happens because they have innate knowledge. Chosmsky says that we have a Language Acquisition Device, a part in our brain which deals with language. We are born with Universal grammar,a set of principles common to all languages which help children to learn whatever language they are exposed to.At first we are exposed to Primary Linguistic Data and then we set the parameters to each language.
ENVIRONMENT:
Chomsky says that children need input from the environment which is called Primary Linguistic Data. It is what the baby listens around him, that is, the first contact, the language he is exposed to (his/her mother tongue). For example, all babies produce the same sounds at the beginning, the babbling is the same and then, when they are 10 months old (approximately), the babbling starts to be different because of the exposure.

MISTAKES: Children make mistakes because they overgeneralise grammar rules. Through them, it is possible to know what stage of development they are.

AGE:Age is important for Piaget. He states that, according to the age of a child, he/she is able to learn something in particular. He claims that cognitive development proceeds in 4 main stages: Sensori-motor learning (from birth to about 18 months), the pre-operational stage (from 8 months to 7 years of age) , the concrete operational stage(From about 7 to about 10 or 11) and the formal operational stage (from about 11 or 12)
LEARNING: Maturation precedes learning. That is to say that children are able to learn taking into account age (the level of maturation). This has to do with the readiness principle. Children have to be mature enough in order to learn. We cannot teach the child something that he/she is not ready to understand.
ENVIRONMENT: It is important because children learn through the senses and also, interacting with different objects. They learn by themselves. Piaget says that children are like little scientists. They experiment and find out how things work. The knowledge is build in their minds so they have an active role.
MISTAKES: They are important because children can construct knowledge by taking mistakes into account

AGE: Age is not important for Vygotsky but the content should apply for that learning. As far as learning and interaction are meaningful to the child, you can teach anything at any age.

LEARNING:Learning and
maturation are both together: children can learn something that make them mature. According to Vygotsky, learning occurs in the ZPD, between the actual and potential levels.

ENVIRONMENT:It is important because children learn interacting with others that know more than them. For that reason, Vygotsky exposes the Zone of Proximal development : children can learn with the guide of adults and their peers.

MISTAKES: Vigotsky claims that children have to interact more with others not to have the same mistakes.
