There are many diffrences and similarities between The governments of Kenya and South Africa. One main difference between the two countries is that Kenya is a Presidental democracy where South Africa is a Parliamentary democracy. This is a significant difference because the form of government each country has determines how much freedom their people have and how much power is shared between local bodies and central bodies. Along with diffrences their are also many similarities such as the fact that both Kenya and South Africa have a president as a Head of state and head of government. This is significant as well because it shows that the president of both country's are in control of the government and state where as in many in many countrys these roles are shared between a prime minister and a president. Also both country's have a system where all citizens over the age of 18 are eligible to vote this is similar between both country's this is also know as universal suffrage. And a final similarity between Kenya and South Africa is that is that the parliament of both is bicameral legislature meaning that the parliament is made of two different houses. It is apperennt that there are many similarities and diffrences between Kenya and South Africa but all of them are important and critical to the function of these countries.

The Republic of Kenya and the Republic of South Africa have many similarities and differences. For starters, Kenya has a presidential democracy, while South Africa has a Representative Democracy. In Kenya, the the head of state is the president. In South Africa, the head of state is the president.Even though they have different types of leaders, both leaders are the head of state and head of government. Citizens play their own role in each system of government. Kenya's citizens (18 or older) vote directly for the president. South Africa is a different story. Their citizens vote for representatives , who then vote for the president. Also each country has universal suffrage meaning both men and women are allowed to vote at age of 18.Each country has two parts to their legislative branch, that means they both are bicameral. According to the chart, the name of Kenya's parliament is the National Assembly. South Africa's is called the legislative branch. Both operate the same way. All in all, the Republic of South Africa and Republic of Kenya have many similarities and differences.

Kenya's and South Africa's governments are remarkably similar and different in many ways. Kenya's government according to the chart, "Republic of Kenya vs Republic of South Africa", is a presidential republic. The presidential republic in Kenya is when the people elect the parliament and president. This can lead to be a similarity because people in South Africa also has the right to vote for representatives (parliament). This is also can be a difference because the people of South Africa cannot vote for the president directly while Kenya's citizens can. Furthermore, the article also states that the two governments have a bicameral legislative branch. Bicameral means that the legislative branch has 2 sections. In Kenya they're called the National Assembly and the Senate. In South Africa the first section is also called the National Assembly while the second part is called the Council of Provinces. However, the suffrage or voting rights also have many similarities. For example, the qualification to vote is to be 18, or older in both nations. They also allow for universal suffrage . One thing both of the countries have in common is being a republican nation. one thing they contrast about is their leader, Kenya has a president , and South Africa has a prime minister.
Kenya's president is Uhuru Kenyatta. South Africa's prime minister is Jacob Zuma. Both countries suffrage is the same, everyone can vote no matter gender, race, ethnicity, religion, they just have to be 18 and older. South Africa's parliament is called the National Assembly or the National council of provinces, they are a parliamentary democracy, just like Kenya. Kenya's parliament is called bicameral and/or the national assembly, it is called bicameral because it has more than one branch of parliament. Kenya is officially a presidential republic. South Africa is officially a legislative parliament. these are just a few similarities and differences
