She wanted to transform the rights and equality so that both races have equal rights. This first started when her friend Jeremiah Reeves got arrested for Raping white women and Breaking and Entering. When she heard about the news she went to school and her teacher encouraged her to take action and Claudette felt confident because she has been learning all about the rights. Claudette finally started to take this very serious she knew that it was not right to make and force Jeremiah plead guilty so she went on the bus and took a stand when she was asked to stand she said no.She was arrested but that did not phase her soon enough her name got all around town and she was very known everyone congratulated her for her bravery and her maturity.

She wanted to be treated fairly she wanted it more than anything. She wanted for all races to be treated fairly and all races to be united.
She went to Booker T. Washington high school and met a teacher that taught her to turn her anger into action and start to fight for her rights. She started to boycott and walk to places instead of ride a bus and she went rallies. She one day refused to let a white person take her spot on a bus she stood her ground. She got arrested for disorderly conduct but it was so bad that she got charged for disordely conduct because it was so unfair that she had to give up her seat.
