I chose calm and brave because in the story she was able to reach her mom with a call. Which made her mom be able to call Akira. Akira was able to stay calm and soon was able to find a house aka where her friend Nova lives. Akira didn't know if it was her house but she remembered which made them feel okay. Akira drank something, healed SUe, packed some food and water, and at the last of not all they Found dodger which didn't only make AKira calm but also happy.

I choose brave. the reason for this is because when the girls were separated she knew not to look scared. So once they found a house the girls went in and used a bunch of the family's stuff. But they wrote a note saying she would repay her for everything and hoping her family is okay. But while they were in the house they heard splashing in a pool and it was dodger it says " Akira threw open the back door and stopped dead in her tracks. There wasn't a person splashing around in the pool. It was a horse. Akira's horse.

Akira is independent because she likes to mostly separate herself from others and she doesn't really like to engage with other people. "Maybe having Sue there wasn't the wors thing after all." I chose this because it shows that she didn't want Sue to be there before and that she wanted to be more independent but then she gave Sue a chance.
