         <description><![CDATA[<div>Alexander Graham Bell is best known for his invention of the telephone, for which he received his first patent in 1876. The invention of the telephone had a great impact towards society and broadened the idea of communication. The whole point of the telephone is to instantly connect with others around the world at great distances. The telephone has made business more efficient, saved money from having to travel back and forth from distant places, and it made transactions able to occur more quickly. </div>]]></description>

Steel was important to the industrial revolution because it was a major tool used to make many of the new inventions and it contributed to the making of railroads. It was the first cost-efficient industrial process for large scale production of steel from molten pig iron by taking out impurities from pig iron using an air blast.</div>]]></description>

While the nation was still divided due to the Civil War, this railroad<strong> </strong>helped unify the nation eventually making it a super power.</div>]]></description>
