  • IDE-Integrated Development Enviroment (Entorno de Desarrollo Integrado): Software package that combines all the essential tools required for writing and testing software.
  • SDK-Software Development Kit (Equipo de Software para Desarrollo): Set of software tools and programs that developers can utilize to create various applications for certain platforms.
  • CLI-Command Line Interface (Interfaz de Línea de Comando): This interface receive commands from a user in the form of lines of text.
  • API-Application Programming Interface (Interfaz para programas de aplicación ): Definitions and protocols to build and integrate application software.
  • IAM-Identity and Acces Management (Gestión de Acceso de Identidad): Web service that helps you securely control access to AWS resources.
  • ACL-Acces Control List (Lista de Control de Acceso): List of rules that specifies which users or systems are granted or denied access to a particular object or system resource.
  • AWS-Amazon Web Services (Servicios de Web de Amazon): Subsidiary of Amazon that provides on-demand cloud computing platforms and APIs to individuals, companies and governments on a metered pay-as-you-go basis.
  • URL-Uniform Resource Locator (Localizador Uniforme de Recursos): Colloquially termed a web address.
  • CORS-Cross Origin Resource Sharing (Intercambio de Recursos de Origen Cruzado): Defines a way for client web applications that are loaded in one domain to interact with resources that are in a different domain.
  • RCUs-Read Capacity Units (Unidades de Capacidad de Lectura): Number of strongly consisten reads per secon of items that are up to 4KB in size. Eventually consistent reads use half of the provisioned read capacity. 
  • WCUs-Write Capacity Units (Unidades de Capacidad de Escritura): Number of 1KB writes per second.
  • ACID-Atomicity, Consistency, Isolation, Durability (Atomicidad, Consistencia, Aislamiento, Durabilidad): Set of properties of database transactions intended to guarantee data validity despite error, power failures, and other mishaps.
  • YMLS-Human readable data serialization language, used for configuration files and in applications where data is being stored or transmitted.
  • JSON-JavaScript Object Notation (Notación de Objeto de JavaScript): Open standard file format and data interchange format that uses human-readable text to store and transmit data objects consisting of attribute-value pairs and arrays.
  • URI-Uniform Resource Identifier (Identificador de Recursos Uniforme): Unique sequence of characters that identifies a logical or physical resource used by web technologies.

  • Lifecycle (Ciclo de Vida) Course of events that brings a new product into existence and follows its growth into a mature product and eventual critical mass and decline.
  • Agile (Ágil) The Agile software development life cycle is the structured series of stages that a product goes through as it moves from beginning to end.
  • Sprint (Carrera) Sprint cycle is a timeboxed period when a team delivers a set amount of work.
  • Stages (Etapas) Phases of a lifecycle.
  • Build (Construir) Compile code.
  • Test (Prueba) Perform different test to the system.
  • Deploy (Desplegar) Process where developers have written code for a site and they need to place it on the web servers.
  • Develop (Desarrollar) Process of code, build and test the code.
  • Maintain (Mantener) Monitor code in production to quickly detect unusual activity or errors.
  • Delivery (Entrega) Like deploy to someone or something.
  • Bucket (Bucket) Collections of code or apps.
  • Run (Ejecutar) Execute code.
  • Management (Gestión) Handling changes to computer code.
  • Gateway (Pasarela). The gateway converts information, data or other communications from one protocol or format to another. 
  • Router (Enrutador) Networking device that forwards data packets between computer networks.
  • Endpoint (Punto Final)URL that’s an entry point for a web service.
  • Resource (Recurso) Like a resource script or file.
  • Source (Fuente) Source code is programming statements that are created in a text editor.
  • Store (Almacenar) Save code.
  • Takeaways (Idea ) A key fact, point, or idea to be remembered, typically one emerging from a discussion or meeting.
  • Scalability (Escabilidad) Ability of a computing process to be used or produced in a range of capabilites.
  • Availability (Disponibilidad) State of being able to be used or obtained.
  • Put-Get (Poner-Coger) Put and Get request, used to a modify a resource or read a resource.
  • Data at rest (Datos en reposo) Data that has reached a destination and is not being accessed or used
  • Data in transit (Datos en transito)  Data in motion and data in flight, is data en route between source and destination, typically on a computer network.
  • Scenario (Escenario) Describes one way that a system is or is envisaged to be used in the context of an activity in a defined time-frame.interack
  • Overview (Visión General) A general view of a program or code.
  • Policy (Política) Rules of a software.
  • Compliance (Cumplimiento) Refers to tools and practices that allow you to embed the three core activities at the heart of compliance: Prevent, detect, remediate.
  • Shared (Compartido) When a software is distribuited between members.
  • Inline (En línea) Refers to any lines of code that are added in the body of a program.
  • Backup (Copia de seguridad) A copy of a file or other item of data made in case the original is lost or damaged.
  • Restore (Restaurar) Bring back a file or other itme of data.
  • Latency (Latencia) The delay before a transfer of data begins following an instruction for its transfer.
  • Request (Solicitud) A client petition from a web server.
  • Respose (Respuesta) The server's answer.
  • On-demand (En demanda) Changes with demand.
  • On-premises (En instalaciones) Inside a building or on the area of land that it is on. 
  • Stream record (Registro de flujo) Represents a single data modification in the DynamoDB table.
  • Shard (Casco) Act as a container for multiple stream records.
  • Point-in-time (Punto en el tiempo) A moment where something is saved.
  • Query (Consulta) A request for information.
  • Scan (Escanear) Term that describes digitizing an image, allowing it to be stored, modified, or understood by a computer.
  • Debrief (Informe) Information about something.
  • RESTful (Transferencia de estado representacional) Request/response, HTTP methods (GET, POST), Stateless.
  • Stateless (Sin Registro) No record of previous interactions.
  • Stateful (Con Registro) Keep track of the state of interaction.
  • WebSockets (Protocolo de red) communications protocol for a persistent, bi-directional, full duplex TCP connection from a user's web browser to a server.
  • Mock (Simular) Simulated object that mimics the behavior of the smallest testable parts of an application in controlled ways.
  • Swap (Intercambio) Used to give processes room, even when the physical RAM of the system is already used up.
  • Index (Índice) A method of sorting data by creating keywords or a listing of the data.
  • Flow (Flujo) Allows data-integration specialists to connect disparate systems transforming and restructuring data as required between environments.
  • Backend (Desarrollo Servidor) The part of an application that is not directly accessed by the user, typically responsible for storing and manipulating data.
  • Frontend (Desarrollo Cliente) The part of an application with which the user interacts directly.
  • Canary Deployment (Estrategía de despliegue) Deployment pattern that allows you to roll out new code/features to a subset of users as an initial test.
  • Spikes in traffic (Picos en tráfico) The number of requests for your product or service increases or decreases very sharply.
  • Exploit (Brecha) A software tool designed to take advantage of a flaw in a computer system, typically for malicious purposes such as installing malware.
  • Scraper (Rascador) Software programmed to sift through databases and extract information.
  • Breadcrumb (Migas de pan) Ruta/guía/rastro, dentro de la web (ubicación).
  • Nested (Alojado) Code that performs a particular function and that is contained within code that performs a broader function.
  • Overhead (Gastos de infraestructura) business: basic expenses.
  • Node (Nodo) Fixed size chunk of secure network attached RAM.
  • Cluster (Grupo) Logical grouping of one or more ElastiCache nodes.
  • Offload (Descarga-descargar (Bajar la carga)) To transfer data from one device to another.

  • Security (Seguridad) Protection of computer systems and information from harm, theft, and unauthorized use.
  • Performance (Rendimiento) Process by which a computer system's resources and outputs are assessed to determine whether the system is performing at an optimal level.
  • Upload (Subir) Transfer (data) from one computer to another, typically to one that is larger or remote from the user or functioning as a server.
  • Download (Descargar) Copy (data) from one computer system to another, typically over the internet.
  • Presigned (Prediseñada) Something locked that you can not change.
  • Customer (Cliente) A person or system of a specified kind with whom one has to deal.
  • Least (Mínimo) Smallest in amount, extent, or significance. 
  • Wary (Cauteloso) Being on guard - watchful, cautious.
  • Throttle (Regular) Limiting a resource over a set amount of time.
  • Alleviate (Paliar, calmar, alivia) To make less intense or more bearable.
  • Drill down (Examinar a fondo, escudriñar) To go to deeper levels of an organized set of data in order to find more detail, especially on a computer or a website.
  • Seldom (Raramente, pocas veces) Rarely, infrequently.
