(Tiananmen square and UK uniform protests.) Ultimately, the minorities got together and decided to protest, in the case of the videos which I watched, they were all peaceful other than the Tiananmen square one which became violent. After the protesting, the problem usually improved but it was still not solved. I feel to improve all the protests which I watched, they should have got more support to protest.

But for the Salt March, people get arrested and injured.
There is usually a pattern when protest take the protest/march to the streets, it is only to a point where they call only call it peaceful. Things don't usually end up well with those protests on the streets and usually ends up with tear gas thrown into crowds or getting shot with rubber bullets. But in the case of the Salt march, all the people get arrested and most of them were beaten.
