The Sierra St. Bridge was one of two bridge projects that were completed in 1937.  
The bridge was designed by Robert A. The community was given more routes across the Truckee River making it easier to get around and reach destinations. The community was affected by the annoyance of construction but in the end it benefited them greatly.
