Many people argue that it is wrong to do so as the potential for life should not be taken. Furthermore, the economical side of things creates a negative outlook as it is very expensive to use stem cell research and the money could be spent on cheaper, more traditional methods. On the contrary, someone else could counter that the life of a person is more important than a future life.
