Today I was particulary exciting and instructive for me to see which ideas and possibilities can be planned for a project with the different subjects and subjects teachers. Because, so far, the exchanges in my school have only been organized with our language teachers.

I learned that (reaching) a lot of different competences can be integrated in an educational visit. This allows to integrate another school subjects and - maybe - other collegues will participate the project without having too much work with it. So the project can get a project of more than just the language subjects and their teachers, a major part of the school community can be integrated. I'm quite motivated to initiate this with my collegues now!

My pic of the day illustrates the way I imagine we well have to go: stony, uneven, hard and the destination is not already in sight. But I'm curios enough to tread this path...

Today was another great day. I am very interested in getting to know local attractions, especially as far as nature is concerned. I was intrigued by the moving island of Le Désirade. Previously it belonged to the island of Dominica, in 1648 it joined Guadeloupe. It served as a hideout for pirates and was a place of exile for criminals. I was very interested that the island moves according to the lithospheric plates. It changes its position, it's amazing.

Another splendid day with Rita 😊. Many thanks Rita for the way of classes you provide. The capability you are able to introduce, present the cultural and natural heritage, personal and social aspects is really amazing. Your vast overview about the history, cultural aspects developed not only my VET skills, but the personal most of all.

Today I got to know new possibilities and methods for promoting key competencies. The exchange with the other participants enables me to get to know new perspectives.

This picture is from the last day here in Guadeloupe. It was the first time ever that I enjoyed Rum. I will take this recipe home to bring a little bit of the ease and happiness of Guadeloupe to my own place. what I learned on day nine was a lot of practical knowledge about how to set up a fulfilling international Erasmus project. I wrote down a lot of ideas that could be either turned into an eTwinning project or a proper Erasmus plus project for students of all ages. I feel very confident now about the competences and skills that both teachers and students can gain true participation in such projects.

I learnt a lot about key competences and also how to combine them weithin a project or even aditionally to the project itself. So far in our school we always focused on two or three competences and didnt try to integrate all of them in the international work / Erasmus project. I also found the educational visit to "the end of the world" and the history we were told very interesting.
