         <description><![CDATA[<div>Online shopping has increasingly grown in popularity in China with retail sales throughout the past years showing great potential. Due to recent studies, it can be suggested that there will be tens of millions of Chinese online shopping consumers being added to the current percentage. Consequently, retailers and consumer goods companies are gradually creating e-commerce websites in order to gain an increasing amount of sales, just like Amazon has been able to do succeed at in the United States. Not only are global retailers such as Adidas, Uniqlo and Gap entering the Chinese e-commerce market, but China’s domestic enterprises are also following this path. It should be noted that this rapid growth has also brought challenges for China’s retail market.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Chinese citizens have saw an increasing desire of shopping online and the total amount of Internet retailing has increased by twice, compared with the amount in 2009. The percentage of online customers has increased from 28% of the total China’s netizens to 33% within six months of this year and there is a great potential if the increasing rate would be continued. McKinsey conducted an report in terms of the average online surfing time of netizens, which comments that it normally cost netizens three years until they start online-shopping, and there would be massive online consumers if the transformation speed could be maintained. Early of the year, the proportion of online consumers to internet users expanded but still less than half the global average. Analysts think the online shopping market in China has great potential. In addition, McKinsey believes if the speed at which internet users grow into online shopping customers remains, lots of Chinese online shoppers will soon be born.
