Art Shed is an art course for people with low-level mental health issues that uses museum exhibits to inspire creativity and collaboration.

Rather than focusing on illness, the Human Nature Project presents mental health as an asset to actively invest in.

Our professional artists run creative arts projects with children and adults facing challenges in their lives. They are given a chance to express themselves, build skills, meet other people and nurture their wellbeing through animation, dance, drama, music, painting, photography and a host of other artforms.

To make this a reality, we provide the skills, support and work opportunities that are currently not accessible for young people and adults who have learning disabilities.

Our Training Support Services provide the building blocks of work and life skills, while our Enterprises focus on creating tailored pathways to work opportunities, challenging perceptions and breaking down barriers for people who have disabilities in the workplace.

Our philosophy is driven by a desire to create vision and experience led opportunities for artists and creative practitioners to work closely with clients, design teams and communities to build and reveal an authentic sense of narrative, place and distinctiveness within both urban and rural environments.

The programme aims to support our patients to better manage their own self-care and to help them find ways of coping with their ongoing long-term health condition.

At BCTC we believe that every child deserves to live a life inspired and rich, so they can reach their full potential.

We offer creative therapy sessions (Play Therapy and Dance Movement Psychotherapy) to those children that experience challenges or issues in their lives that make it harder for them to cope. These services are available to residents of South Gloucestershire, Bristol and surrounding areas.

ebc was established in 2016 to counteract the lack of professional showing spaces for early career contemporary artists in Bristol, focussed on staging a unique and diverse programme of exhibitions and events.

As physical and mental health continues to decline there is an increasing demand for inclusive leisure and activity strategies. The integration of skateparks and alternative sports alongside traditional sports and play is now long overdue.
