i have the question on why no one help her when she was being harassed. When the man got in her face and called her a "chink"  
the quote " we are chinks now". I would be very embarrassed if i was the dad and i would be disappointed that she would say something so bad about the chinese.  
I think think that the result ended up as the dad talked to er why its a bad word.

The article we read does remind me of something, nothing that I have experienced myself but something that I have heard of in news or even on social media, when she gets called names or someone gets uncomfortably close to her face and calls her a name it can be considered harassment. Harassment isn't a joke and isn't something to joke about many people that aren't like most people get called names or even physically assaulted because of it. Something I learned about the anti-Asian racism from this article is that Asian people and even black or other people of different cultures that experience this are called names and are scared to go outside because on the news last night another one of their kind died, and it's terrible that our society is like this.
