This impacted how people saw communism as a whole. Also how the space race would go and who would get to the moon, mars or space first. Which created a competitive environment for America and Russia. (Known as glory, god and gold.) This can have positive and negative effects on both native, explores, land and animals. Positive effects is people move to colonies to create new lives, wealth and work. An example would be Jamestown. When they made a new settlement to help better people's lives in the new area. Another two is they bring trade to trade with natives and, bring over religion. This can make growth in the country as well as more land. Positive would be for the foreigners who came over to bring religions, guns to trade and land for farming also new wealth. Natives would have the negative effect with disease they can’t fight, cultures destroyed and land being taken. Next for the negative effects disease, enslavement and culture demolished. Disease such as smallpox, whooping cough, plague and typhus become deadly killers in the time of exploration. Killing many people native and explores. Enslavement is another major one that enslaved many natives and african americans. Who would work for the rich families and would be traded by their own tribes. The last one is culture demolished this would happen by erasering people, culture and ideas. Explores would do this by introducing them to new religions, food, weapons, culture and ideas. But most of the time it was forced upon the people or, they were killed so travelers could get land. This is the negative and positive effects of colonize.
