The soldiers would have been able to stay at home and relax, but instead, they have to go to war and think all about blood lust. ( Sade ) I think that is unfair. All those innocent people, who don't know a thing about war and fighting , are about to go into battle and get hurt. They could die or be badly injured to a point where it could ruin the rest of their life, if they're sanity hasn't left them first. The author gives a description of what the sound made him think of. ( Sade ) These lines was powerful. It gave Joby the confidence boost he needed to lead the army into battle.
