Na semana passada usei o sarahah como accountability de uma reunião pedagógica. Ao final, eles tiveram que acessar o meu link e dar um feedback sobre a reunião. Os professores ficaram surpresos ao ver algo que está popular no dia a dia ganhando um novo contexto.

Eu estava na unidade que ensina o vocabulário de "taste". Eu comprei algumas coisas bem especificas e trouxe para os alunos experimentarem e descreverem o que estavam sentindo.

Eu trouxe alguns despertadores muito antigos para contextualizar uma aula sobre "Time" os alunos podiam alterar os horários durante as práticas!

I worked with padlet. They were supposed to answer the questions I made and needed to say who answered it. It was lots of fun coz they wanted to know who was who.

Na aula de "Story Time" da unidade, os alunos veriam todo o vocabulário aprendido e isso incluia os animais da fazenda. No warm up procuramos pelo Paddy e o encontramos com um chapeu de cowboy la na nossa fazendinha. Ele estava nos esperando com todos os Story Boards. Ao contar a historia, consegui explorar bem o vocabulario e eles participaram ativamente, fazendo gestos e sons, alem de falar o nome de quase tudo que viam. Foi lindo <3

I started to give students a different kind of accountability... I would ask them the "senha" of the class. They would leave if they said the words. They thought it so fun that I do it every class in any level.

I've also started to use "simon says" game to review all content learned so far. It's very fast and they get to review everything they've learned in a fun way

Estávamos estudando o vocabulário relativo a family, então eu pedi aos alunos que escrevessem uma descrição de "what family means to you". Então eu trouxe algumas imagens de diferentes configurações familiares (two dads, two moms, monoparental, etc), que então comparamos com as descrições que eles tinham escrito previamente, que diziam respeito a amor e união.
