I personally was really nervous since it was my first flight, but once I tried it, I immediately fell in love with it. The view from the plane was just breathtaking. After 2 hours of calm and safe flight, we landed in Barcelona. The taxi driver gave us a lift to "our" town- Vic. When we arrived at the bus station in Vic, the host families and our Exchange partners had already been waiting for us. They welcomed us with the smile in their faces and each of us went "home".

The next day we had a day off so we spent some time with our families and therefore we could get to know them better. Some of us went to the beach or hiking. I went along with my Exchange partner to the town called Sitges for a dance competition

In the morning we all gathered in the main square where we met with students from Netherlans, Italy and Portuguese and took some photos. After that, we went to the town hall. The mayor of the town welcomed us and told us history of Vic. We had a little expedition and then we went to school to present our Start-up projects. After lunch, we tried Catalan tradition- Human Towers. In the evening we took part at demonstration to honour political prisoners who fought for liberty in the country.

There we visited museum of Salvador Dali. This museum was actually one of the most enjoyable and fascinating experience. After the museum, went to a beach where we had break. The next stop was historical town Girona. We bought there some nice souvenirs and took some pictures.

W had lesson abou Numbers, we learn a little bit of Catalan language and we also had lesson about negotiation. After that, we went to UVic, which is a local university and there we had a lecture about financing. After the lecture we all had a lunch. After lunch some of us went hiking or went to the bowling.

We basically spent the whole day at school working in groups on our Start-up projects. At 2pm we had a lunch break and then we were back at school to present the projects. We all were satisfied beacause we did a great job with our projects. After school we all went to have a well-deserved ice cream. At 8pm we had a cultural evening with teachers and the host families. We tried some traditional food and we were enjoying our last moments at school.

The Friday was the day we all had been waiting for. We went to Barcelona. The first stop we visited was a magnificent building- basilica Sagrada Familia. Next we went to Camp Nou- football stadium of FC Barcelona. Then we had some free time and we could go shopping and buy some presents for our beloved Slovaks. In the evening we had a "Farewell party". We met a lot of likable people and this was a good way to said goodbye to them.

We woke up pretty early in th emorning, we made sure all of our things were packed and then we went to the bus station. We thanked our host families for their care during this amazing week. We said goodbye and then the taxi driver took us to the airport in Barcelona. We arrived to Piešťany in the afternoon. We felt tired, but happy and impatient to share our exhilarating experience to our families and friends.
