2. It's important for us to care for so many reasons. One reason is that while all other periods of mass extinction were natural occurrences, this current period is largely man-made, meaning humans can actually do something about it!
3. I'm willing to make small changes in the decisions I make on a daily basis. All animals are interconnected and humans are included in the web but unless us humans do something many of these wonderful animals will go extinct and we will be the ones to blame. Deforestation and poaching are just two of the things that are happening even as I write this removing animals from their homes and disrupting the whole ecosystem. It is in realistic to say we should stop building homes or stop using mobile phones but simple things such as donating just a few dollars to a fund such as Cool Earth or working towards wasting less paper every day can make a huge difference in the tide of change and could make the difference for some critically endangered species.
