Mindfullness:
Mindfullness is a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment. With mindfulness we can work with our minds and bodies

Project:
Create an experience, activity or tool that encourages engages with the drawing exhibition.  That also encourages and enables visitors to continue to engage with drawing after they are back at work or home.

Target audience:

We came up with the idea of a room that had suspended pieces of string-like material that evoked questions about the visitor's mood and a group of objects, resulting into drawings based on those questions.

We made holes out of the plastic cups and threaded the wire through  it and the black card (question paper). 

The idea itself was good but needed more refinement and a deeper reflection and research on the brief itself.

Characteristics of the project:

• Can either be in its own separate area of the museum or scattered across the museum so that visitors will see and walk through/interact with it while viewing other work (scattered in groups)
• The project will continue to grow as people contribute to it
• Audience will have the freedom to create what they want based on what has inspired them/their moods/their feelings/their thoughts/what they have seen at the museum: this can be drawings/paintings/etc, origami/folded paper, makeshift objects, photographs taken
• Work created will be suspended on string/rope/wire throughout the museum
• Audience will have the freedom to choose where to place their work and could even potentially be able to move/reorder other peoples work to create something new (work will be hung on wire using magnets so that it is moveable)
