I would suggest this book. The formulas for branding: 1. Decide what your customers want, 2. What problems were helping to solve (the more problems you can solve the broader niche you have), 3. What life will look like after clients engage our products services

I actually would say they are asking the wrong question. I think the key is narrowing your niche, not broadening it. The defintion of niche is "a specialized segment of the market for a particular kind of product or service". Just like our job seekers, the more we can be specific about who we are and who we are trying to serve, the more we will know their "voice", the more we can tailor our messaging to attract these people. Too broad of a brand is a mistake. Be specific. Narrow down and then talk about your niche's problem in their own words.

I am very grateful for the opportunity to work with a wide variety of people when I first got started. I networked, responded to questions on social media to be of service to others. I was able to narrow down who I wanted to work with once I had more experience. This time to learn about myself also allowed me to select how I want to work with others.

I completely agree with Lisa D Riley and thought the same when they asked it during the cohort call. The fear is that they'll have to keep broadening it to get more clients, but the reality is that you actually lose appeal with a broad niche.
