Isaac Newton is synonymous with apples and gravity. He rose to become the most influential scientist of the 17th century. His ideas becoming the foundation of modern physics.

According to a well known story, Isaac Newton discovered gravity when an apple fell on his head. He conceived that the same force governed the motion of the moon and the apple. he calculated the force needed to hold the moon in its orbit as compared with the force pulling an object to the ground.

Edison was nicknamed Alva. Did you know when alva went to school he did bad at school so he ended up being home schooled from his mother. Thomas was an enterprising young man, selling vegetables, candy and newspapers on trains. One day he saved a child from a runaway train. The child's father repaid Edison by training him as a telegraph operator. As a telegraph operator, Thomas became interested in communications, which would be the focus of many of his inventions.
Eventually he invented light bulb, phonography and motion pictures. Sadly Thomas Alva Edison died in October 18, 1931 in West Orange New Jersey.
