Seven habits of effective people,
My two examples are;
Sharpen the saw. this could be used for staff training, if your are repeating your self a number of time and the employee is not understanding instead of saying the same thing over and over, take some time to think and re-word how you are saying it or teach by doing, this may take more time but optimally the out come can be beneficial.

habit 2 synergize.
this applies to teams being given tasks with a deadline.
for example, I used to work in a team where I worked so meany days and the other team member worked the other days, were never seen each other all communication was via a written hand over. I would need to start the task then have my team member pick up from where I left off and so on until it was completed, both required to email updates to our manager.
doing our shear was the only way to complete the takes.
these tasks were often not achievable without each others help.

Seven Habits of Effective People:

The example I have is a combination of Habit 1 Be Proactive and Habit 2 Begin with the end in mind. We require that managers complete 30, 60 and 90 day reviews with any new employees. The end result for me is receiving the paperwork from the manager to complete their personnel files. With this in mind I have created email templates to remind them to meet with their employee and it diarises the date for them. A proactive action is I include the paperwork in the template as they usually lose it or can’t find it when it’s time for the review. I also diarise my own reminder to check in and ensure they are aware of the upcoming review and have booked time with the employee to meet with them. This means if they have accidentally dismissed the reminder, I can subtly remind them again.

Seven Habits of Effective People:

Synergise - When a new innovation is in the pipeline management needs to have co-operation from everyone directly affected by the change. Creativity and contribution from others may greatly enhance the idea of change in the workplace and bring about a more successful plan.

Think win-win - This technique is quite similar to the above. But making sure that the leadership shown in the organisation is always revolving around team work. Don't make the change about yourself. Making the innovation successful based on effective leadership and effort from everyone not just one person. Two heads are better than one!

Seven habits of highly effective people

Synergise
Business models being embraced these days are far more team focused now than 20 years ago.
Synergy to me in a business environment is about celebrating one another's strengths. There are endless 'wins' from people recognising eachothers abilities and working together with that in mind.

Win-Win
With the business world focusing on developing more sustainable outcomes, I think of how that 'looks' for many companies. There is much to be gained by management sharing goals of working towards sustainable practices.
