So I want to make the people conscientious about them

Specie: marine animals

Scientific name: Oncorhynchus tshawytscha

Grouping: school / shoal

The status of this specie as it's not getting the enough attention is widely decreasing. The population from 1983 to 1990 fell from seven million fish to five million, the population in 2016 was around the three million

This specie born into freshwater and migrate to the sea's salt water, in the process of migration they grow. When is time to give born a new generation they return to fresh water

Some interesting characteristics about their appearance are how most of the kind of salmon as Chinook, Coho, Sockeye, Pink, and Chum, have vivid colors which are developed in the fresh water season. Most of them develope a red or pink hues, but some of species may develope a green one

They are so important animals as they are the main source of food for a lot of animals as bears, eagles and other fish

Most experts affirm that is necessary a restoration of their habitat and being constantly monitoring and researching about them if we want to protect them. Also is necessary to prevent the oil spill

The pacific salmon are treated by the illegal harvest and the unregulated overharvesting as well as the destruction of their habitat

A Polar bear is a top predator because of climate where he lives. His habitat is very dangerous but now, as a result of global warming icebergs are melting and Polar bear doesn't have a place to live and hunt. This situation makes Polar Bear's status vulnerable.

This animal is one of the biggest in the world. It's important to save this animal because of his individual nature.

I chose this animal because I thought it had a funny name and because it only steal alive 10 in the hole world. It belong to the cetaceans group specially it is a marsupial, it scientific name is Phocoena Sinus, they live in the gulf of California

The vaquita prefers the coast and warm currents and it is 1.5 meter long and 50 kg, it is the smallest cetacean. It eat small fish like the anchovy or curvinite and promote to reduce the population of smaller species.

The drastic declin de vaquita innabundance is the result of fisheries bycatch in commercial and illegal grilnets, including fisheries targetin the endengered Totoaba. And other things that make then in danger is that given the proximity to the coast, vaquitas are exposed to habitat alteration and pollution from runoff.

The Mexican government, international committees, scientists, and conservation groups have recommended and implemented plans to help reduce the rate of bycatch, enforce gillnet bans, and promote population recovery.

To date, efforts have been unsuccessful in solving the issues that affect vaquita conservation and the greater Gulf of California ecosystem. The necessary action includes habitat protection, education, and raising awareness of the vaquita and associated issues.

Adult males have a dark brown or black mane around their necks.

- They are the only felines with social groups called "prides."

- Lions are carnivores and hunt in groups to feed themselves.

- They are primarily found in sub-Saharan Africa, although a small population lives in India.

- They prefer savannas and open grasslands to hunt and live in.

- Lions are social animals and live in prides.

- A typical pride consists of several lionesses, their cubs, and a few adult males.

- The lion population has declined significantly in recent years, with only an estimated 20,000 to 30,000 lions left in the wild.

- Lions play an important role in the balance of the food chain, controlling prey populations. They are also part of the world's cultural and natural heritage.

- The main threats to lions are illegal hunting, habitat loss, and conflicts with humans.

- To help lions, you can support conservation organizations, promote public education, and work with local communities to reduce conflicts.

ARTIC WOLF

-Why you chose this animal?

I chose this animal because i love wolves and they are a wonderful species.

-Species:

Canis Lupus.

-Scientific name:

Canis Lupus Arctos

-Grouping:

Herd/Pack of wolves

-Population:

Around 200.000 wolves

-Habitat:

The arctic wolf has a distribution in northern America, specifically in the extreme north of Canada, found on islands such as Melville and Ellesmere. In addition, it is also distributed in Greenland. The habitat of the polar wolf is the Arctic tundra. These ecosystems have low temperatures throughout the year, reaching around -30 ºC in the places where this animal is located. In summer, with many hours of solar radiation, but quiet nights; On the other hand, in winter, there is practically 24-hour darkness and winds with icy storms that have a strong impact on the region.

-Characterictics:

Total length: 100 to 160 cm.

Height at withers: 65 to 80 cm.

Weight (females): from 18 to 55 kg.

Weight (males): 20 to 80 kg.

Longevity: 8-15 years.

Gestation: 61 to 63 days.

Litter: 3-6 puppies.

-Why they matter for the biodiversity?

The Arctic wolf is a carnivorous hunter and this helps control the populations of other animals in the region such as musk oxen, caribou and Arctic hares. It also serves the function of limiting the overpopulation of herbivores, capable of destroying the vegetation cover of our forests.

-What is threatening their existence?

Industrial development threatens the Arctic wolf as more mines, roads and pipelines encroach on its territory and disrupt its food supply.

-What can be done to help?

1) Protect the Iberian wolf throughout Spain, through the incorporation of the species to the List of Wild Species under Special Protection Regime developed by RD 139/2011.

2) Immediately paralyze the species' population control programs.

3) Develop a new basis for wolf recovery or conservation plans.

4) Promote coexistence between wolves and extensive livestock farming.

5) Promote actions against poaching and poisoning.

6) Regulate tourism related to wolf watching.

7) Promote education and awareness about the ecological importance of large predators, particularly the wolf.

8) Promote the development and approval of appropriate Management Plans for Special Conservation Areas (ZEC) with wolf presence.

Made by Alba Sánchez Torres.

I have chosen this animal because it seems like a curious and adorable animal: there are many types of sloths but the one I am going to talk about is the sloth. Pygmy three-toed sloth (Bradypus pygmaeus)

There are 3200 lazy people

The lazy tree-dwellers of Central and South America spend their lives in tropical rainforests

They move through the canopy at a rate of about 40 meters per day, munching on leaves, twigs and buds

Sloths have an exceptionally low metabolic rate and spend 15 to 20 hours a day sleeping

We have to save them because they are a weak animal and it is difficult for them to live. It is best not to put it on them anymore.

They are threatened by deforestation and degradation of their home, the tropical forests, as well as by illegal trafficking

If we stop doing this, in addition to saving this species, we could save many more.
