Prompt: I think this book has a similar feel to the tv show The Walking Dead, a zombie show, which follows a dad who’s protecting his son just like the book. This is very similar to the book because it shows the powerful need the fathers have to protect their son and even sometimes risk their lives.

Prompt: I think the song: I will survive. This song talks about being scared but then pushing through it and “surviving” which is hard for the father and son since they have ostracized themselves from other people, by purposely avoiding them.
