This summary allowed me to research the technology and design different ways that it could be implemented in schools for teacher and student use.

I selected this artifact to meet this standard becuase this artifact provided me with an opportunity to research, analyze, and summarize a type of technology that was new to me. After researching the technology, I was able to analyze ways that this technology could be integrated into schools.

I taught students how to access and use Google Drawings, then gave them the task of drawing a picture on Google Drawings depicting a scene from a book we were reading. The students were then to post the drawings that they made onto our Padlet site to share with each other.

This artifact was chosen to meet this standard because stuents were able to communicate their ideas through drawing in a different type of way. They were also able to interact with each other by posting their drawings on their Padlet site and commenting on each others work.

We are lucky enough at our school to have two people in the building that work just with technology and were able to talk to both of them.

The group was working on multiplication skills, mainly basic multiplication facts. This project included a series of ten lessons with pretests and post-tests. The data shows their progress from their pretest scores compared to their post-test scores.

This artifact was chosen for this standard becuase this project allowed me to use technology to analyze data in a more effective way through charts and graphs. I was able to analyze probelms that they students were experiencing with multiplication and alter my plans to better fit their needs.

The students were doing a novel study and I was able to integrate technology by asking them to draw a scene from the book the way that they visualized it while they were reading. I taught the students how to use Gogle Drawings and then allowed them to start drawing and post their drawing on the Padlet that we had set up for their group.

I used this artifact to meet this standard becuase it allowed me to design, implement and asses their ability to not only comprehend what they were understanding from the book we were reading, but also to see what they understood after learning this new aspect of technology for them
