Macbeth: Is this a dagger which I see before me,

The handle toward my hand? Come, let me clutch thee.

(2.1.33-34)

Macbeth is hallucinating about a dagger in the air, the handle pointing towards his hand. He reaches out to clutch it, hence the man in the gif extending his hand to grab the dagger. However, he is aware that he is hallucinating—tying his experience to the theme of natural vs. unnatural

Macbeth: Nature seems dead, and wicked dreams abuse the curtain'd sleep; witchcraft celebrates Pale Hecate's offerings; and wither'd murder, Alarum'd by his sentinel, the wolf, whose howl's his watch, thus with his stealthy pace, with Tarquin's ravishing strides, towards his design moves like a ghost.

(2.1.50-56)

Duncan has just been stabbed, his wound like a gap in the natural creation from which destruction could enter. It relates to the theme of natural vs. unnatural because the scene is so obscene that it can be described as something horrible as ravishing someone.

Lady Macbeth: My hands are of your colour, but I shame to wear a heart so white.

(2.2.64-65)

Lady Macbeth has just returned from placing the evidence of Duncan's murder near the guards. She feels no remorse for what her and her husband have done. Her ambition is a present theme in this line, claiming to have a clean conscience even if her hands are bloody.

Macbeth: Wake Duncan with thy knocking! I would thou couldst!

(2.2.74)

Macbeth is full of guilt, he is feeling remorseful of his actions. This is tied to the theme of natural vs. unnatural because at the time, kings were believed to be granted their position by God. Not only had he killed the ruler of his kingdom, but he had also killed a servant of God.

If the king was murdered, then it is most likely that they will be next since they are the heir to throne. This theme relates to fate because Duncan's sons are leaving everything in Cumberland to fate.
