         <description><![CDATA[<div>Reading Chapter 3: Buyer Behaviors, I became fascinated with the "behind the scenes" and psychology of why customers purchase what they do. One of the greatest things about advertising is the art of communicating and appealing a consumer's wants and needs. To achieve an effective marketing communication, Marketeers study the process consumers take in their buying decisions. Environmental trends such as Health Emphasis and Gender/Age Complexity influence a consumer's decision to buy what they want and/or need. A great example of an ad using these trends is the Apple Watch campaign highlighting Active, Busy Lifestyles and the Communication Revolution. The Active and Busy Lifestyle categorizes people on-the-go. In recent studies, people prefer time over material things. Services such as fast-food restaurants and drive-thru car wash are extremely beneficial for active consumers because they lack free time. Meanwhile, the Communication Revolution&nbsp;affects almost everyone around the world. Communication is a universal concept that helps people interact with each other. As technology evolves, communication between different parts of the world becomes faster and easier. In this ad, Apple reaches a large target market since its product appeals to the modern, tech savvy, active and interactive consumer. The Apple Watch enables one to connect with others on different devices, listen to music, tell time and manage your tasks all on your wrist. I believe Apple's focus on their consumers' lifestyles proved to be effective because I have yet to hear a complaint about these watches. Apple payed so much attention to their consumers Apple has recently introduced the third installment of the brand's extension. </div>]]></description>
