Breaking down weekly payments and using this math equation is a very neat way to create learning opportunities and open your eyes to where all your hard earned money goes.

They are all kept in this book and will always be handy and when it comes time for tax season, so you wont have to ruffle through your loose paper drawer to find your bills, they can and should be in this binder! It could just be me but having the color coated binder helps keep it in order and is an easy set up.

We thought this was really cool. It's a 52 week challenge that helps you save up to $2,756 dollars! Each week you put a certain amount and it starts at only $2. Each week, the amount you put in grows by 2$ each and the final payment is $104. This challenge is awesome to try out, especially if you are tying to save for a vacation or even to keep it as an emergency fund. I know having a sheet like this on my wall would really help me and be hard to ignore and quit.

This is a sheet I found online that will help families or single people properly learn how to handle their money. When doing the budget assignment this semester, I learned how my money went to so much useless stuff and how much money I just spent on Tim Horton's alone. Seeing all that money being wasted really made me want to take control of my money so I am able to save up. This sheet helps you know how much money you have, the bills you should spend it on, and how to handle your leftover money. When things are in writing and being tracked like this, you understand your finances better instead of just tapping your debit card at random stores while not paying attention to how much money you are spending.

This is another budget sheet, but I wanted to include it because there is such thing as surprise expenses. This is why I always think it's a good idea to have a savings account or an emergency fund. You never know when random charges an pop up. Just this month I found out my phone bill is over $300 dollars instead of the usual $160. Or someone could not have unlimited internet at their home and go over it, causing a big bill. This will help someone track what their usual bills are, and when they do get surprise charges, they can figure out what happened to prevent it from happening again.

This is another government website that can help out a lot of people with budgeting. It has calculators for budgets, financial goals, mortgages, vehicle lease or buy calculator, retirement income, and even a calculator to figure out your credit card payment. It has tools that will compare bank accounts you can get, credit cards, and to see if you will be qualified for a mortgage, All of these things are on only one web page, and can really help a person plan their budget and figure out their financial goals. If someone is worried, they can even take a financial literacy quiz to find out what they can do to improve.

This website will help teach people to make better financial choices, save money, and pay their bills. I just found this website today, but I plan to use it from now on, because it will show me how to properly budget and maintain my savings. They have online webinars and workshops that you can access at all times.
