Uganda’s culture consists of customs such as the main language spoken, Swahili. “The largest group in Uganda (around a fifth of the population) are the Baganda, who live in the Kampala region and speak Luganda” (http://www.our-africa.org/uganda/people-culture “Our Africa” by unknown).

Some major industries in Uganda are sugar, brewing, tobacco, cotton textiles, cement and steel production. They mostly work on stages one and two. They work on extracting the products from the farms (cotton, sugar, tobacco) and producing them in factories (cement, steel).

One situation factor to be able to develop a business between another LDC country is that we would have to look for a place where there’s a big population, so that more people can benefit from the business. Another situation factor is to build in a place where there’s more people who are in need of our business, in this case, a school. We want to help people in our LDC who are in need of an education, so it wouldn’t make sense to build a school where children don’t care for an education. One site factor is to build where there’s little to no schools around in the area. We want as much people to benefit from education, so we’ll build where people don't have that opportunity. Another site factor is to build somewhere where you can get to safely. We want safe multiple paths to and from the school (no criminal activity, wild animals, severe weather ect.) so that the children can get there safely and focus on the education.

He said that he had a dream that he should get rid of all Asians from his country buy November 9, 1972. “[...] Allah had instructed him in a dream to expel all Asians from his country and to confiscate their homes and their businesses by 9 November 1972” (https://www.google.com/amp/www.independent.co.uk/voices/commentators/yasmin-alibhai-brown/racism-and-the-truth-about-the-ugandan-asians-172084.html%3Famp “Racism and the truth about the Ugandan Asians” by Yasmin Alibhai-Brown August 4, 2002). At first, the Asians thought it was just him making them feel nervous or worried, but Allah was serious. Asians made their way out of Uganda before November 9th came.

Some of their major cash crops are tobacco, tea, cotton, and coffee. Uganda’s main export crop is coffee. Uganda made several policy changes including the amount of export products aiming towards reducing ill-effects on inflation. They want to earn money to cure sickness. If they lose export partners, they won’t be able to achieve this goal. they won’t have enough money to continue this goal. Losing this goal means that their population will go down, since it’ll be affecting their health. More people will die sooner.

Uganda’s population is 38,319,241. Their CBR is 43.4 births/1,000 population. Their CDR is 10.4 deaths/1,000 population. Uganda is in stage two. Most of the population is at the bottom of the pyramid, meaning there’s more young people than elderly. There’s very little, almost nothing, at the top of the pyramid. Very little people in Uganda aren't living after 60 years. This means medicine/technology isn't as developed in Uganda. My social policy is to have the Ugandan population only have up to two children per family. Since Uganda has a big population, and not enough natural resources for that much people, I wanted to slowly lower the population. We won’t do anything to any families who already have more than two children, but we will tell the future families not to have more than two children. In a few years, maybe a generation later, we will have a stable population and a more stable amount of natural resources.

Uganda’s literacy rate is 78.4% of total population. Their school life expectancy is 10 years. We can positively impact this by adding more schools in Uganda. Adding more schools will give more students a chance to be able to read and write. We will teach children how education is important and how they should stay in school. Uganda’s life expectancy is about 55 years. Their IMR is 57.6 deaths/1,000 live births. Their CBR is 43.4 births/1,000 population. Their CDR is 10.4 deaths/1,000 population. We can positively impact this by developing medicine and technology. By improving in this, we’ll have people living longer and healthier. The IMR and CDR will decrease while the life expectancy will increase. Uganda’s GPD per capita is $2,100. Their exports are $2,723 billion and imports are $2,677 billion Their labor force is 19.03 million, agriculture: 71.9%, industry: 4.4%, services: 23.7%.We can positively impact this by trying to export more items to get money in, and import less items to waste less money. We can also close down unnecessary industries/businesses to open up more needed/useful ones to add more job opportunities.

Some major industries in Uganda are sugar, tobacco, corn, coffee, sweet potatoes, tea, and cotton. If they were to start losing amounts of these crops, their development will fall. They depend on these main crops to export and trade with other countries. They depend on the money that they make out of selling these crops to develop medicine to help diseases and sicknesses. If they were to lose crops, they'd lose export money, meaning they'll lose money to develop medicine, leading to more people getting sick/dying earlier. Our industry business proposal will help improve my LDC by giving children in Uganda a chance for education. Our industry business proposal is to add schools in Uganda in areas in need of education. With more children getting a quality education, they’ll learn how to develop medicine and technology. When they grow up, they'll be able to give back to the economy by helping their healths by knowing how to help them using medicine/technology. People will be able to live longer and healthier.

This will help pollution getting into the atmosphere, helping climate change and lung diseases. People in Uganda will be able to breathe in less pollution, lowering chances of lung disease. Another climate action statement is to start using more natural resources instead of fossil fuels. We will use technology such as wind turbines, hydropower, and solar panels. This will serve for the same purpose of helping climate change and lung sickness.
