-1950 - 25 million went international , only those you wore suit and ties
-today - 1 billion people have gone on a holiday
-why? More wealth, mobility and more resources
-predicted 1.9 billion by 2030?
-holidays are about disposable income - 
-Dutch 2nd travel the most - people leave work the earliest, really into their holidays - 1/4 live until 100
- issues/technology - oil, water, etc.
- future tourists - want new experiences, exposed to different cultures/consumers want a sample
-in the future - there's going to be more people who are OLD - what does that mean? There wont
 be high demand for ADVENTURE e.g. bungee jumping
-we want to live longer - more demand for hiking, relaxation for health, etc.
-how technology will influence what people want to see
-people want to make connection with people
-technology will impact - people will not need to go to info centres; people can look it up
-What kind of things will old people want?
-Technology and innovation- we are more knowledgable so have higher expectations
- e.g. airlines - bigger screens, more shows and movies
-e.g. lounges, beds you can sleep in - targeted for the wealth, disposable income
-e.g. gold club - access to additional services as a point of difference
