So I'd like to try this and test what the difference is. I’ve also copied to other links with a ranging difficulty of stretches so i can take certain stretches from each one and make a short routine i can do everyday or every other day. I would plan to do this on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays as I have dance on mondays, wednesdays and saturdays so i’ll be stretching on these days already so to have a greater impact i wanted to do it on my off days. This will help as it will allow me to consistently stretch throughout the week without the effect wearing off and I'll have a rest day on Sundays so I don't over do it. I Will attempt a split at the end of every week to show the improvements and differences.

This will help as I will be able to identify the current problems I have and how I can fix them to get a good form. I Plan to do this on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays after stretching so I'll already be warm and ready to dance and it will coincide with my flexibility training as I'll be able to lift my leg higher when turning. I will make a time lapse of the improvements I've made in the recordings.

Each week I will focus on a different technique and then slowly combine them into a performance. I will pick a song and build it up into a repertoire song. I will also perform vocal warm ups to have the most consistent condition across my weeks of development. This will help as it will allow me to take my time making these techniques muscle memory and decide what works best with my song. This also helps as it will allow my to strengthen my core and stamina with singing and it will also give me a song to work on my range as i must reach for higher notes and build stability while hitting those higher notes I will do this on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays as these days allow me the freedom of time to work at my own pace.

Due to scheduling conflicts and complications I have decided to start my recordings late and so I have started my work recordings on the 12th of march as it is the first time since writing my development plan that I have had the chance to properly put it in my schedule. After doing a 15 minute vocal warm up I decided to record straight away and view my current standard of technique. The first problem I can see visually is that I move around a lot making my support weaker and less effective. I plan to correct this by focusing on my movements more and staying more stationary. Instead of focusing on one technique per week I decided to instead focus on one correction and then improve on it. For my first week I chose to sing the song Inutil from In the heights as it was the first solo I sang at college and I wanted to compare my growth since starting. One of my strengths in the recording is my belting is it is very controlled and matches the tone of the song. For next week I will focus on staying stationary to build more support

This recording was for the first stage of my Leeds audition. In this I was able to stay more stationary then when I was singing casually I was also able to try capture more emotion in my voice and kept my core strong for a better support. One thing I could have done better is my breathing as I would ether anticipate when to breathe to early in some places which in turn caused me to run out of breathe to soon. Overall I believe I did a good performance but still need to improve on my breathing

This time I chose to focus on my jazz turns. This requires me to keep on the same level without jumping up and down. For the exercise I was doing I had to perform two pas de bourrees and then pirouette. I repeat this six times simultaneously swapping sides to makes sure I’m able to perform on both sides. What I need to improve on is my balance as my weight tends to go to far forward when I’m adding more power causing me to fall or lose balance
