This is achieved through use of weapons, crude language and violence. 
There are few women featured in the trailer, one being the typical 'love interest', another being a young 'tomboy'. 
However, the opening of the trailer (from 00:05), would be attractive to a female audience due to the emotional, romantic scene. It is also features Ryan Reynolds as himself, rather than as a superhero. Film audiences vary from film to film, and it would be unlikely for producers to create a film that people from every gender, age, race, sexual orientation etc. would be interested in.
Producers use different techniques to attract audiences, from language and aesthetics of the film to where the final product is advertised. For example, a film about cars targeted at middle-aged men may be advertised in the advert breaks of Top Gear, or in the pages of a car magazine. It would be unwise for this film to be in a women’s weekly magazine or morning talk show, as these are not typical viewing platforms for the audience they want to reach.
By tailoring their advertising techniques to their specific audience, they increase the likeliness of their audience hearing about the film and being more inclined to go to the cinema to watch it.
