I'm 16 years old.

I'm the student of Tanski High School.

I'm in the 3rd grade in military class.

I am keen on military, football and video games. My favourite football club is Bayern Munich. I joined this project because it was my dream, and I want to improve my English skills and meet new people.

I would like to join the Erasmus+ program because I have always wanted to test my English language skills in real-life situations. I am also very interested in learning about the foreign cultures and traditions.

I’m a student in the second year of a military profile class at Czesław Tański High School. I’m an active and energetic person who really enjoys sports and spending time outdoors. In my free time, I also love painting, drawing, and listening to music. I decided to take part in the Erasmus program because I want to meet new people, improve my English, and learn about different cultures.

The first one, football, has always been a big part of my life. I really enjoy both training and playing matches with my team. It helps me stay active and focused, and it also teaches me how to cooperate with others. It’s not just a sport for me, it’s a great way to make friends and challenge myself.

As for music, it helps me both focus and relax, whether I’m studying, working, or just going about my day. It’s something that always keeps me in a good mood and gives me energy.

I decided to take part in the Erasmus+ programme because I want to improve my English, meet new people from different countries, and learn about other cultures. I believe that this experience will make me more open-minded and confident, and it’s a great opportunity to see how young people live and study in other parts of Europe.

I enjoy constantly working on my skills as a teacher, seek innovative teaching methods and solutions. I make sure my students don’t leave my classroom without a smile!

I believe Eramsus projects and Etwinning is a wonderful opportunity for students and teachers to enhance the experience of learning new languages and develop our live skills through cultural experience.

I love traveling and sailing! In 2020 I moved to Boston MA and lived there for two years, that’s where I gained most of of language and cultural experience. I will always encourage my students to take part in international exchanges and trips because I believe they absolutely change your life, broaden your horizons and change the way you think!

In Żyrardów you can see, for example:

• historic workers’ and villa district buildings.

It’s a town with a distinctive atmosphere, perfect for exploring and learning about the history of Polish industry.

-An academic class is intended for people who want to continue their education after primary school and plan to attend university. This type of class allows students to choose subjects they want to develop more. It is the best option for ambitious students who are motivated and willing to learn.

-Business class in high school is a place when students start to learn about the world of entrepreneurship and business. This class develops a lot of communication skills, problem-solving, and creative thinking. Students learn about different careers in business, and can explore their interests. This is a great class to prepare for further business-related studies.

-In the OPW class, we learn how weapons work. OPW classes (Military Preparation Units) are high school programs that implement a military training curriculum under the supervision of the Ministry of National Defense. Students acquire basic military skills (drill, shooting, first aid) and gain access to recruitment for the army and military academies. At our school, we also collaborate with the IRVIN Cichociemni Association, which runs additional classes for us and for the youth section of the association.

The school motto is: “We learn not for school, but for life”.

Our school patron is Czesław Tański. He was a Polish aviation pioneer, painter, and sculptor. He is considered one of the first Polish experimenters in flight. He is often called the “father of Polish aviation.”

My name is Gosia. I’ve been an English teacher for over 24 years. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of teaching students from diverse backgrounds, including those interested in military, business, flight attending, and academic fields. One of my proudest roles has been as the Erasmus+ coordinator, organizing student mobility projects and helping students broaden their horizons by experiencing life in different cultures.

In addition to teaching, I’ve always sought to make meaningful changes in the educational system. I introduced a percentage-based grading system, moving away from numerical grades to give students a better understanding of their progress. I also founded an International Song Festival in middle school, offering students a chance to showcase their talents and connect with other cultures through music.

Outside the classroom, I have a deep passion for travel, and I enjoy incorporating elements of different cultures into my lessons. I love organizing student trips, not just for fun but to provide real-world learning experiences. I’m also committed to volunteer work and have coordinated various student volunteer projects, believing that such activities teach valuable life skills.

Ultimately, my mission as a teacher is to inspire my students to reach their full potential and open their minds to the possibilities of the world.

Hello everyone! I'm Filio from Greece. I live in Thessaloniki and I teach English at the 2nd General High School of Neapolis. I am passionate about my job, and I've become an eTwinner to bring some excitement into education. I believe my students deserve the best, so I'm trying to offer them all options through collaboration opportunities. One of my goals is to enhance language and communication skills as well as to help my students think beyond classroom tasks.  In my personal life, I am a globetrotter, a nature lover, and sensitive to environmental issues. I also love making new friends!

I’m Yiannis from Greece, chemistry teacher at the 2nd General High School of Neapolis (Thessaloniki area). Really excited to be part of “Think, Act, Thrive: Building Citizenship and Well-being” and to collaborate with this inspiring community!

In this project I’m looking forward to working together on shaping responsible digital citizens, promoting mental well-being, and blending sustainable thinking into everything we do.

Hi! I'm Katherine and I am from Greece. I'm fifteen years old and I am a student at the 2nd General High School of Neapoli in Thessaloniki. My interests are mostly around poetry,music,dance and playing musical instrument. Also, I love travelling and play volleyball. I' m very excited to be part of this project and I'm waiting to meet all of you!

In my free time I love hanging out with my friends and to play video games such as fc26 and rocket league

Afterwards, a meeting with a psychologist took place, aimed at supporting the participants’ well-being. During the session, topics related to emotions, coping with stress, and the importance of mental health in school and everyday life were discussed.

An additional highlight of the day was a traditional regional refreshment prepared by the hosts, which allowed participants to learn more about the local culture and further strengthened integration in an informal setting.

Achieved objectives:

1. Improving language competences
   Students completed tasks in English, which helped them consolidate vocabulary and develop their ability to use a foreign language in practical contexts.

2. Increasing the attractiveness of the school
   A school presentation was delivered to showcase the school’s offer, atmosphere, and activities undertaken for students. Posts promoting the school and current activities were prepared and published on social media. In addition, social media profiles were exchanged with the partner school, which supports cooperation, experience sharing, and increases the school’s visibility and recognition at an international level.

​Our next activity was a visit to the fascinating Museum of Cinematography, where we explored the history of Greek cinema. Most importantly, we carried out all these activities together with students from a local Greek school, which gave us a great opportunity to share our experiences in real-time. To wrap up the day, we went to the lively Aristotelous Square, where we enjoyed a meal together and said goodbye to our Greek friends in a very friendly atmosphere.
