Curiosity, analysis, and exploration are all embodied in the assessment criterion of investigation. It acts as the basis upon which knowledge and understanding are developed. When I think about this criterion, my attention is drawn on how many different ways it can appear in various situations across foundation.

In simple terms, investigation is the process of developing questions. It's about the continuous want to question presumptions and get the answers you were looking for. This requirement makes us to critically assess our methods for getting at our conclusions. It highlights how important it is to conduct thorough research, ask thoughtful questions, and take into account different viewpoints.

My personal experiences have led me to understand the criteria of investigation. Each research project I've carried out, whether it be a historical analysis, an artists, a building has extended on how I view things and grew my understanding of the world. It has helped me understand the worth of determination during times of uncertainty and the importance of keeping an open mind when searching for the truth. More specifically one briefs that I had completed throughout the foundation that required me to research a lot of information about the area was the brief about watts gallery. That showed me the importance of researching from before so you have the right information that could apply to a final outcome.

Additionally, research encourages analytical thinking, builds creativity in problem solving, and supports a desire to learn that goes well beyond the classroom. Through investigation, we discover our own strengths and weaknesses as well as information about the world around us.

In summary, research is a journey that should be embraced rather than just a requirement that must be done. It pushes us to exercise critical thinking, pursue our curiosity continuously, and never give up on our quest for knowledge.

It is clear that the idea of rebuilding and repairing throughout the world that this subject has taken place in a variety of significant ways within the context of art. Through their work, artists from a variety of professions and backgrounds have explored this theme, providing insights on human resiliency, transformation, and renewal. Using everyday objects and discovered materials to suggest themes of reconstruction and repair is one well-known approach. Reusing abandoned materials, artists such as El Anatsui and Gabriel Orozco create artworks that highlight the beauty and importance that can be found in things that are disregarded and left behind. In the same way, restoration is used as demonstrated by the works of Ai Weiwei and Doris Salcedo, represents initiatives to maintain and restore cultural heritage in a situation of violence and devastation. In addition, a lot of artists use their work to address social, political, and environmental issues while exploring into the aspects of reconstruction and repair. Through the community-focused projects of Theaster Gates and the participatory installations of Tania Bruguera, art is used as a tool for social change, healing, and peace. Furthermore, by examining the processes of destruction and reconstruction, artists such as Rashid Johnson and Cornelia Parker encourage viewers to consider themes of rebirth and memory. In the future, I plan on digging deeper into the connection between art and community rebuilding in my project. Especially interesting are the ways in which artists collaborate with nearby communities to address social and environmental issues through creative interventions.
