Then went to go fetch his small yellow cup from the cupboard.
He stopped and then frowned and looked to the ground and noticed his shoes were on backwards.
He realized that there was no loud coming from just ten feet away.
He looked in the corner, saw his puppy asleep, and knew that he would not beg for breakfast today.
Then he looked out the window and took a sip of his drink. 
He saw the newspaper boy drop the pages on his porch and ring the door bell, so the man came his way.
The boy held out his hand, the man knew that he wasn't asking for sand.
