There are four people in my family: my mother, my brother, my sister and me. I love every members but I love my mother the most. Her name is Nguyễn Thị Thủy, she is 40 years old . My mother is the most beautiful person in my heart. She is slim and short, and she has got an oval face with long straight hair and black eyes. I love her because she always loves and takes care of me. In her free time, my mother often watches TV or makes cakes for us. Sometimes, she confides in me and gives helpful advice, and this makes me happy. To sum up, she is a wonderful mom, and I hope she always has good health and happy moments with my family.

My favorite clothes are T-shirts. I have many colorful and varied T-shirts. I can wear them to school, go out with my friends, join outdoor activities, or wear it at home. T-shirts are common clothes so I can buy them at any clothes stores. I like T-shirts because they are beautiful, simple, convenient and comfortable. T-shirts can be mixed and matched with jeans and shorts, so it makes me look young and active. To sum up, T-shirts are my favourite items which I always choose to wear daily.

My birthday is October 23, so I am a Libra. I think I am a kind and friendly person . I like to help people. Because I am responsible and organized, I always try to complete my work and duty on time. I met her when we were in grade 1, we studied in the same class then we became friends. She is funny, outgoing, and always friendly with everyone. She is confident and responsible, so she is loved by many people. Moreover, she is smart and hardworking. Therefore, she has helped me a lot with my studies and I have learnt a lot from her, not only in study but also in daily things, such as cooking. Whenever we have time for each other, we always share happy moments and interesting stories in life. In short. I really appreciate Hang.

I live in the countryside. Country life is peaceful and quiet. The environment is clean and airy, with many trees and rivers. Transport is not as convenient as in the city, but it’s not too difficult to travel. The cost of living is lower, so people don’t need to spend much. People in the countryside are friendly and helpful. In the countryside, they often go to the market, visit neighbors, or join outdoor activity: flying kites. I like living in the country because it is calm, relaxing, and close to nature, but sometimes it is boring because it is quiet and less convenient.

One of the most memorable experiences was the first trip to the beach. It was last summer when my family and I went to Da Nang. The weather was sunny and the sea was beautiful. I played on the sand and swam at the beach with my brother and my sister. We also enjoyed seafood together: fish, shrimp, crab .The trip was special because it was the first time I saw the sea. I felt so happy and free. This memory always makes me happy when I think about it.

Unit 8: Next summer holiday

Next summer holiday, I am going to travel to Da Nang, a beautiful city in Vietnam. I am going to travel in July, when the weather is warm and sunny and the sea is beautiful. I am going with my family—my parents, my older brother and my younger sister. We are going to travel by plane because it is fast and comfortable. During our holiday, we are going to relax on the beach, go swimming, and try delicious local food: mi quang, bun cha ca. We are also going to visit famous places like Ba Na Hills and the Marble Mountains. I am very excited about this trip and I think it will be a great experience!

Unit 8: My plan after graduation from university

I will graduate from university in 2028. After graduation, I am going to work right away because I need to get experience and become financially independent. I want to work at a company in Hanoi because there are many opportunities to grow and learn there. Besides work, I am going to learn learn new language. I want to study Chinese to improve my communication skills and have more job opportunities. In the first 2-3 years after graduation, I will focus on work and gain experience. After that, I hope to get married when I am 28 years old and live in a peaceful city close to nature. I wish to have a stable life, balancing work and family.
