    • Vetiver is a tropical plant that thrives in heat. Keep in mind that it will cease growing at about 5 degrees Celsius. In subtropical locations, on planting window runs from August to April the following year, all year in tropical regions, and from October to March in temperate and Mediterranean zones. If you plant your seeds at different times, they will not die; they will simply grow more slowly.
