The Steam Engine had a big impact on the world, it helped create trains. These trains could now help import and export materials and products a lot faster.

The Scramble for Africa was a big event during imperialism and kind of the main event. All of these countries trying to claim parts of Africa led to lots of war and it also led to these other countries taking Africa's resources and using them for their own good. Which caused problems with the people actually living in Africa who didn't have a say in who got what.

England gaining complete control of India had a pretty big effect in history. England gained control of India and made as much money from them as possible. England went to India in which they found India has resources that England can use to make money. India was producing and selling all of its resources for England and England were the only ones benefiting. This helped Great Britain gain a lot more of the power it already had.
