2.) I feel a sense of pride for my country as I am up cycling and recycling!

3.) I find Upcycling a very important aspect in our country as it reduces Singapore's growing carbon footprint.

4.) Me & My peer (Nasrin) had a commited heart to check and knock all the houses doors at least once amd try to communicate to them as much as we couod to make them understand.

2) I felt good and happy. It was enjoyable to engage with the residents while explaining about the via project. It was nice to see that many people had actually stepped up and supported us by giving us their unwanted textiles.

3) yes. I think upcycling is important because by doing so we can give our unwanted items(textile) a second life instead of just throwing them away and putting them to waste.

Q3. Ye s, I think that upcycling is as important as recycling. Upcycling can create more new things using old things, this will reduce the problem of one-time use.

2.i feel accomplished as my group has hauled a lot of recyclable materials.

3.it because if we don't recycle, more and more of them gets thrown into the incinerator and therefore produces more carbon emission to worsen the global warming situation.

I felt sad as the level o was assigned to had no bags of recyclables and when we knocked on the doors, no one answered. But we joined other pairs on other floors and we managed to acquire some recyclables from people.

Yes, I find upcycling very important, as it plays a role in the environment. If people do not practise it, all recyclable objects will be disposed while they could have been recycled into items like new furniture or toys.

Overcoming my social interaction, which was a struggle as I have a hard to interacting with new people but because of this VIA, I am now able to interact with strangers with ease.

Q2: At first, I felt nervous as I'm not used to talking to strangers as I usually prefer to stay at home but afterwards, I felt quite excited as I managed to get out of my comfort zone and talk to someone else other than my friends.

Q2. I feel tired and exhausted as my partner and I had to climb up many stairs to many floors and rarely met any of the people whose doors we knocked on as they didn't answer.

Q3. Yes, as without upcycling, the trash and rubbish builds up until it either becomes a fire hazard or a waste of space.

Q4. Patience and persistence were essential as I had to go to many houses and did not give up despite receiving no answer from the homeowners.

I have learnt that some people have alot of unused clothes, which are not recycled and just left unused

2. When I carried out this activity I felt a sense of sadness as when people throw out their items they may felt a sense of belonging for their items and I felt like they needed to move on from the abandoned stuffed toys they once were sucking on all day.

3. I feel that it is an important part for the community and the environment as people who needs it more tend to not have it while people who has everything,they just abandon their stuff as trash when it could be another new wardrobe.

4. This via also has brought a lot of teamwork as me and my partner were going to each door making sure that they are able to be able to upcycle with us.
